Taxi Driver Found Dead in Harare CBD

In a disturbing incident, a taxi driver was found dead at the corner of Nelson Mandela and Simon Muzenda Streets in Harare.

The body of the unidentified man was discovered this Tuesday morning in a pool of blood in the CBD. He had a wound on his leg.

Details about the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear at the time of publishing.

Police Launch Investigation

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police responded promptly to the scene and have since launched an investigation. Pictures and a video showing them investigating and removing the dead body from the scene have since emerged on social media.

The police are urging anyone with information about the taxi driver’s death to contact the nearest station.
