Motorists are to drive with caution as a taxi and truck protest has shut the following roads on the South Coast this morning (May 23):
- The main Harding Road at Marburg KFC and at Shell robots.
- Murchison and Merlewood robots at Mkholombe have been blocked off.
- Ugu robots in Marburg has also been closed due to protest action.
- Further the P200 at Ghamalakhe is closed off.
- The Oribi Plaza toll road offramp blocked.
- Main Port Shepstone intersection.
According to the Lazer 911 this is due to taxi protests against RTI Provincial for enforcing the law.

“Security personnel with Saps and Law enforcement are keeping an eye that the local communities do not take advantage of this situation,” said the security company.
