Teen washed away in Cape storms still missing a week later

The family of a teenager in Cape Town says they’ve made peace with his death but they only want access to his remains so that they can bury him.

Leslie Willemse and 48-year-old Eric McClune were washed away by a powerful torrent as they tried to cross a flooded low-level bridge in Mikpunt, near Klipheuwel over a week ago.

Police divers have since recovered the vehicle, and the body of the older man, prompting people to continue searching for the teen.
