Tinashe Mutarisi has responded to allegations made by Delroy Shewe that he had not been compensated for his song ‘Superstar’, which he made with Saintfloew and uploaded to Nash TV.

In an exclusive interview, Delroy Shewe went on DJ Ollah 7’s podcast, talking about his career and life. The singer then shared that he was not paid anything for his hit song ‘Superstar’.

The song that featured rapper Saintfloew has since amassed 4.7 million views since its release last year. This song cemented Delroy Shewe’s career and became the most popular song in Zimbabwe.

Many people believed that this song, which can easily be termed his big break, should have made him significant money. However, that is not the case for Delroy, who shared that he had not received royalties from the song. His claims were followed by a massive backlash from the public, who asked for answers from Tinashe Mutarisi, who owns Nash TV.

Mutarisi shared that they made about $ 1,600 on the song, which went towards the expenses. However, he shared that he would give Delroy Shewe back the money out of pocket and cover the costs.
