In a shocking incident, Show Chedhu, popularly known as “Mabhemba,” a skilled snake charmer from Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe, lost his life to a venomous Puff Adder bite.
The fatal encounter occurred on Wednesday afternoon when Chedhu, reportedly intoxicated, was parading the snake at a local bar. Despite being rushed to Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital, he succumbed to the venom early Thursday morning.
Eyewitnesses revealed that Chedhu had encountered the Puff Adder near his home in the Alaska Dolomite area and, confident in his handling skills, decided to showcase the snake to onlookers.
Unaware of the danger, some residents took pictures and videos of Chedhu with the snake, which were later posted on social media. The footage shows Chedhu visibly intoxicated while handling the deadly reptile.
