Popular South African hip-hop artist, iFani, is making headlines after he revealed his bank balance on Podcast and Chill with MacG.
With an illustrious career spanning years, iFani has quickly become one of the most celebrated stars from South Africa.
No doubt, against the backdrop of his newfound fame, he disappeared from the limelight, leaving many to guess about his whereabouts. However, in recent years, he has been working on his comeback.
Undoubtedly, the muso aims to reenter and reignite the industry with his undeniable talent. However, iFani is trending after he revealed his Savings account balance in a now-viral video that has since left Mzansi puzzled. The video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped.
The Ewe hitmaker was one of MacG’s recent guests, and he dived into his illustrious career, which spans years. However, his sense of fashion prompted MacG to ask him about his choice of clothes. “What do you call this drip?” MacG asked.
However, in response, iFani said, “I call this the broke man’s drip. You know, there’s only one way up when you are at a corner.” Nevertheless, the star singer shared some profound concepts of financial struggle. He believes that the experience of being broke is subjective and contextual.
“You know, being broke is relative because there are people who get rich once a month, and then when the first comes, they are broke just like me. We are similar for 24 days, and then they come rich on the 25th, and then we go back to the 1st, and we are similar again,” iFani said.
Against his response, MacG was quick to ask about his bank balance. MacG asked, “How much money do you have in your bank account?”
In response, iFani revealed that he had R1 783 in his account. However, iFani went on to ask for MacG’s bank balance, too. Surprisingly, MacG’s Savings account had a balance of around R700.
Mzansi was convinced that the two were lying. With a career spanning years, iFani has made a fortune from his music and endorsement deals despite going off the hook for years.
On the other hand, MacG has made a considerable chunk of money from his Podcast and Chill Network. The network has one of the world’s biggest podcasts under its franchise Podcast and Chill with MacG.
