Controversial tenderpreneurs Mike Chimombe and Mose Mpofu have appeared at the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) over the scandalous ZEC tender and the Presidential Goats Scheme.

Mike Chimombe, Moses Mpofu and Wicknell Chivayo have hogged the limelight following leaked audios from Wicknell.

ZACC had invited them for questioning with regards to the US$40 million Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) tender, which they accused Wicknell of inflating. Chimombe and Mpofu had been in China and returned last week.

The two went to ZACC today with their legal team as part of the investigations and will be called later. However, they were not interviewed. Newshawks revealed that their case’s investigating officer, Henry Chapwanya, said he was still busy with another case.

Their lawyer said:

“We went there, and we waited for the investigating officer, Chapwanya. When he came, he said he was busy with another case at the moment and would call us whenever he gets time.”
