The rap mogul was spotted strolling through his Miami neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, just hours after issuing an apology on social media.

The video of the assault, which surfaced recently and was initially exposed by CNN, shows Diddy viciously beating Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. The footage has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation.

In the new video which is circulating on social media, P Diddy is seen walking slowly accompanied by two men. Initially, he attempts to block the photographers with his hands, but as he gets closer, he appears more amicable. When asked by paparazzi how he is doing, Diddy responds with a thumbs up and a gesture signifying “love.” However, one of the paparazzi can be heard saying, “We The People Do Not Forgive You Diddy.”

Social Media Backlash: Calls for Cancellation and Criticism of Diddy’s Apology

Meanwhile on Sunday, Diddy released a video apology addressing his actions in the leaked footage.

It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that “I was f**ked up—I hit rock bottom—but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace,” P Diddy said as he apologized.

Despite his apology, social media users have criticized Diddy for not directly apologizing to Cassie Ventura. The online backlash has led to calls for him to be cancelled, with many netizens expressing their disapproval of his actions and the perceived insufficiency of his apology.
