Zimbabweans were left in disbelief after a video showing a traditional healer known as Nzwisa from Silalatshani in Filabusi fearlessly parading his black mamba in a bar was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by ZimLive.

Fearless Zimbabwean Sangoma Displays Pet Black Mamba

The publication reported that Nzwisa keeps the black mamba as a pet and claims that it helps him heal his patients.

When asked if he was not afraid of being bitten by the notoriously venomous reptile, the traditional healer claimed that he removes the black mamba’s teeth regularly to prevent it from delivering its deadly venom.

In the video, Nzwisa confidently handled the snake while onlookers gasped in amazement, praising his “powers.”
