Flamboyant businessman Wicknell Chivayo has dismissed rumours suggesting he is being groomed for the Vice Presidency.

Additionally, Wicknell Chivayo revealed his plan to donate 100 Toyota Aqua vehicles to ordinary members of the Zanu-PF party across Zimbabwe’s ten provinces.

Wicknell Chivayo Responds to Stand-up Comedian King Kandoro

Chivayo’s response came after King Kandoro, a comedian, poked fun at Zanu-PF during one of his recent shows. Chivayo, in a lengthy statement shared on social media, expressed displeasure at what he viewed as unjust criticism of his party. He emphasized the importance of respecting Zanu-PF for ushering in the independence that Zimbabweans celebrate today.

In a portion of his statement, Chivayo highlighted the need for wealthy individuals in Zimbabwe to share their prosperity for the betterment of society. He emphasized the impact that philanthropic efforts, like his own, could have on improving living conditions if more business leaders followed suit.

“QUITE LAUGHABLE…I watched this video clip which went viral last week with equal interest and displeasure. As much as I sometimes find this BOY funny, I certainly DISLIKE his unjustified criticism of my beloved party ZANU PF, all in the name of HOUMOUR and SATTIRE. The REVOLUTIONARY PARTY ushered us the independence which we celebrate and enjoy to this very day and therefore equally deserves some measure of RESPECT. The sad news for him is I’M NOT STOPPING sorry to say ! There are so many rich people out there but barely share their wealth with anyone. Imagine if we had just 10 GENEROUS business tycoons like me in Zimbabwe, we would live in a better place. Exceptional and committed PHILANTHROPISTS like myself should never be the subject of such PETTY humor for comic mileage !!! It takes a lot of love and faith to be able to bless a whole lot of people that yo dont know , you’ve never even met and are not related to. The wiser thing to do is shower more praises and keep encouraging them to soldier on to try enable more people to benefit,” Chivayo wrote in a portion of his lengthy statement.

Wicknell Chivayo Reveals Plans to Give Away 100 Toyota Aqua Vehicles Next Week

Wicknell Chivayo revealed his plan to give away 100 Toyota Aqua vehicles to deserving Zanu-PF supporters across Zimbabwe’s ten provinces. The distribution will begin in his home province of Mashonaland East. The cars will be awarded to youths who campaigned for Zanu-PF during the 2023 elections. The beneficiaries will be selected based on recommendations from provincial chairpersons and the Minister of State.

“On that note, after watching this video I have decided to spare yet another 850 thousand dollars from my SMALL SAVINGS to buy 100 Toyota AKWAYA’S next week. These vehicles will be randomly distributed EQUALLY across the country’s 10 Provinces , starting with MASHONALAND EAST , kumusha kwangu to the DESERVING youths who were outstanding and worked tirelessly during the Election period. I will first of all seek the REQUISITE permission from the party leadership , then liaise with the Minister’s of each Province and Provincial Chairmans to ensure that APPROPRIATE and deserving beneficiaries receive their RECOGNITION,” Wicknell Chivayo wrote in his lengthy rant on Facebook.
