I’ve successfully checked myself into a mental health wellness centre. It’s been a beautiful long year. Time to rest, recharge and reflect.

Lasizwe humorously noted that his phone was being confiscated as part of the facility’s policies, with a nurse standing by to ensure he completed his post before handing over the device. Despite this, he reassured his audience that his team would manage his social media presence during his absence.

Lasizwe’s history with depression

This is not the first time the star has sought professional help in his mental well-being. In November 2021, he shared a similar experience of checking into a wellness facility to cope with depression and anxiety.

“I’m going on a mental wellness retreat because I suffer from depression and anxiety. This is very overwhelming for me, and I want to be present. I want to be surrounded by doctors, psychologists, peace, and nature to help me process this milestone,” he revealed in a prior post.
