Prominent actor Luthuli Dlamini has firmly responded to recent rumours suggesting he is broke and homeless.
Taking to social media to address the speculation, Dlamini dismissed the claims as unfounded and urged individuals to exercise caution when sharing information.
Hobo Living In A Drug Den?
Dlamini, celebrated for his roles in numerous television dramas and films, has long been a household name in the entertainment industry. The rumours began circulating after Dlamini was reportedly seen living in an abandoned house used by drug addicts.
A neighbour revealed:
“He has been staying there for some time; we all know him; all the neighbours recognise him, but no one judges his situation; it can happen to anyone. He lives there with a group of guys, and they respect him. It’s life. He has not been working and was forced to live there. He needs help, but maybe he is too ashamed to ask for help.“

However, in a video posted online, Dlamini clarified that he is not homeless and is living in a beautiful place in Durban.
The actor got into character and wore rugged clothes and torn, old, dusty shoes while washing his clothes.
He reacted:
“I just wanna dispel a few rumours. First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who has shown support for me and everyone who has offered me a house to live in. Someone has offered me their spare room. I really appreciate that. I just want to dispel all those concerns about me being homeless.
“I’m not homeless. Not at all. I’m living in a beautiful place in Durban with lots of sunshine. I’m happy, I’m fine, I’m good. In fact, we actually have a delivery service here where they actually deliver quality food. I’m fine. I just want everybody to know I’m fine, I’m happy. I am living under a roof; I am not homeless.”
