In a move to enhance convenience and accessibility, the Zimbabwean government has announced that citizens living in South Africa can now obtain their passports in Johannesburg. Starting Monday, 29 July 2024, applicants can apply for an emergency passport at a cost of US$250.
This new service aims to cater to the needs of Zimbabweans residing in South Africa, eliminating the need to travel back to Zimbabwe for passport-related matters. The Johannesburg office will provide a more accessible and efficient solution for those requiring urgent travel documents.
