Zondo: Judiciary develops anti-s.e.xual harassment policy

Outgoing Chief Justice Raymond Zondo said that he has drawn up an anti-sexual harassment policy for the judiciary.

At his interview for the job in 2022, Zondo promised to formulate this policy which would assist in protecting women within the judicial sector.

With less than a month left till he retires, Zondo says he has kept his promise.

Speaking during a media briefing at the Constitutional Court on Friday, Zondo said a committee led by incoming chief justice Mandisa Maya drew up the report and sent it to his desk.

“I sent it back to them to look at certain issues and try and deal with them. They took some time before they brought it back to me, but I think in all probability it’s should be fine now.”
