This A-level student at Nattie Group of schools is making waves on and off the field. Inspired by her dad, Kudzai Mashawi, a Zimbabwe Cheetahs and Sables legend, Gabriella laced up her boots just two years ago and hasn’t looked back.
She’s a force to be reckoned with at Raiders FC, her club team, and has already earned her stripes with the national team.
Last year, she made the u18 Junior Sables squad bound for the Craven Girls Week in South Africa, but the trip was unfortunately cancelled.
Not one to be deterred, Gabriella qualified for both the Lady Sables National Team, playing against Zambia in a thrilling home-and-away series, and the u18 Junior Sables team – again.
And if all that wasn’t enough, Gabriella is also a prefect at her school, proving she’s got brains and brawn in equal measure.
We can’t wait to see what this talented teenager achieves next!
