About the Role

The Regional Manager will play a pivotal role in directing and implementing sales strategies, driving business performance, and nurturing strong customer and employee relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing operations, growing revenue streams, and ensuring a seamless customer experience through effective team leadership and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Articulating the vision and mission of the organization within the region and aligning departmental goals accordingly.

  • Business Development: Creating high-value sales opportunities, attending industry events, and engaging with regulatory bodies.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Leading complex product and service offerings, managing key accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Operational Management: Overseeing budgeting, planning, and the execution of business strategies within the department.

  • Performance Monitoring: Setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and guiding corrective action where necessary.

  • Talent Development: Building organizational capability by mentoring and coaching team members, and implementing developmental frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 Certificate

  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree

  • FAIS accredited NQF5 qualification with 120 credits

  • Full product accreditation

  • Managerial experience in the financial services sector

  • Preferably a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

  • Valid driver’s license and ownership of a car

Additionally, candidates should possess strong skills in leadership, client engagement, commercial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration. Competencies such as building effective teams, strategic communication, and customer focus are essential for success in this role.
