Apostle Talent Chiwenga Marries Five Years After Wife’s Death

Outspoken cleric Apostle Talent Chiwenga has reportedly remarried five years after the tragic death of his wife.

Chiwenga was married to Regina Jerina Chiwenga until one fateful day in 2019.

The 2019 Tragedy That Left The Cleric Single

Apostle Chiwenga was involved in a horrific car accident that claimed the lives of three people, including his wife, Regina, in June 2019. The crash occurred about 50 kilometres north of Masvingo, near the Chatsworth turn-off on the road to Harare.

Chiwenga lost control of his Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle, which veered off the road and overturned. Three occupants, including his wife and two congregants, perished in the accident. Two female passengers died on the spot, and a man died upon arrival at the hospital. Apostle Chiwenga was critically injured and was admitted to the Makurira Memorial Clinic in Masvingo. The accident was so bad that he missed his wife’s funeral and burial while in hospital.

Years after Chiwenga’s wife died, chatter emerged that he secretly married his wife’s sister, Tariro Mafuka, in 2015, over four years before the accident that took Regina’s life. However, the cleric did not address this rumour.

The outspoken man of the cloth has moved on and remarried. The Secretary General of his church, Jesus Revelation Ministries, Pastor Gerald Baloyi, announced the news during a live service yesterday.

Pastor Baloyi added that the new wife will be introduced and unveiled to the church on 4 May 2024 in South Africa at the Revelation Gathering.
