Several People Injured After Zambia-Bound Bus Andile Coaches is Involved in an Accident
In a tragic development, several people were injured after a Zambia-bound bus, Andile Coaches, was involved in an accident.
The accident reportedly occurred in Makuti yesterday afternoon while the bus was en route to Zambia.
Details of the accident are still sketchy at the time of reporting, however, no deaths were reported but many people were reportedly injured.
Pictures from the accident scene have already started circulating on social media.
School Bus Collision: Separate Incident Adds to Road Accidents, Multiple Injuries Reported
In a separate incident, three people were injured when a school bus travelling towards Marondera with 54 congregates side-swiped with a Nissan NV200 motor vehicle, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
As a result, four other vehicles, namely a Toyota Probox with no passengers, a Toyota Sienta with two passengers, a Nissan Caravan with six passengers, and a Nissan X-Trail with no passengers, were subsequently piled up on the accident scene.
The accident took place at 16:30 at the Mabvuku Turn-off along Mutare Road. The injured victims have since been admitted to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for treatment.

The passengers were pilgrims travelling from Botswana’s capital, Gaborone, to an Easter service in the town of Moria, South Africa.
The bus reportedly lost control on the Mmamatlakala mountain pass between Mokopane and Marken, located approximately 300km (190 miles) north of Johannesburg. It veered off a bridge and plunged approximately 50m (165ft) into a ravine before bursting into flames. Many people died on the spot and were burned beyond recognition.
An eight-year-old girl emerged as the sole survivor of a devastating ZCC bus accident. Despite sustaining serious injuries, she is currently in stable condition, showing signs of recovery.
