FIFA Imposes Player Registration Ban on Yadah FC

Yadah FC, owned by Prophet Walter Magaya, has been handed a significant blow by FIFA after being banned from registering new international and local players. This disciplinary action comes after the club failed to pay an $82,000 penalty for breaching the contracts of three Brazilian players: Joao Pedro, Luciano Farias, and Pereira de Brito.

According to a letter from America Espallargas, FIFA’s head of disciplinary, the ban will remain in effect until the outstanding penalty is paid. This decision was communicated to the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).

The ban severely restricts Yadah FC’s ability to strengthen their squad, both locally and internationally, until the issue is resolved. The club must now prioritize settling the debt to avoid further consequences and ensure they can continue to compete at the highest level.
