Heartbroken Father of Moana Amuli Slams Ginimbi’s Family, Calls Out the Kadungure’s for Lack of Condolences
Ishmael Amuli, the father of the late socialite Michelle “Moana” Amuli, continues to express his deep bitterness towards the family of Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure.
Over three years since the tragic car crash that claimed the lives of Moana, Ginimbi, and two others, Amuli is still waiting for condolences from the Kadungure family

The Tragic Night
In November 2020, a horrific accident occurred when Ginimbi’s R5 million Rolls-Royce Wraith collided head-on with a Honda Fit.
Eyewitnesses reported that the speeding vehicle veered off the road, struck a tree, and burst into flames. This devastating incident happened after Moana and Ginimbi had celebrated her 27th birthday at Dreams Night Club, owned by Ginimbi.
Unresolved Grief Over Daughter’s Death
Speaking from his home in Domboshava, Amuli expressed deep bitterness towards the Kadungure family, who he says have not offered any condolences following his daughter’s death.
“I am so saddened by Genius’ father Anderson’s arrogance not to come and pay his condolence message to me.”
He claims that the Kadungure are responsible for his daughter’s tragic death.
“Given that my daughter Moana was killed while in the company of his son, and at his Dreams Night Club, they are responsible for my daughter’s death.”
Cultural Disrespect
Highlighting cultural expectations, Amuli lamented the disregard shown by the Kadungure family.
“In our African culture, if my child commits a crime somewhere, I go and console the victims. So, because the Kadungures are rich, my child is nothing to them. It’s like I stay as far as Epworth or Bindura, but we both stay here in Domboshava,” he explained.
Ishmael Amuli remarks has sparked a buzz on social media. While some concurred with him arguing that the Kadungure family should have offered their condolences. However, another section slammed Moana’s father stating that it was an accident and that Ginimbi is not to blame for what happened.
