Hundreds of young people who aspire to be traffic officers will be given the opportunity on 1 June.
The Transport Department, as part of their 30-year democracy celebrations, will recruit a cohort of additional traffic officers, nationally.
Deputy Minister Lisa Mangcu says a group of 600 officers will begin training in just over a month.
