Zimbabwean Prophet T Mapisarema ‘Resurrects’ Woman from the Dead After Three Days

A Zimbabwean man is making headlines after claiming that he brought a woman back to life after she had been dead for three days.

Prophet T Mapisarema, born Tichaona Garavada, says he performed the miracle during a funeral in Harare as shocked mourners looked on.

A Funeral Interrupted by Prayer

Speaking to H-Metro, Prophet Mapisarema revealed that the dramatic ‘resurrection miracle’ unfolded when he arrived at a funeral where mourners had gathered around the body of a woman who had allegedly been dead for three days.

“I did not come with my own power. It was God working through me. When I entered, people were already crying at the funeral. But I prayed, and the woman who had been dead for three days rose up.”

He added that the woman stood and walked, sparking pandemonium that quickly turned into jubilation as her family embraced her.

Eyewitnesses Speak of “Miracle”

Several people present claimed they witnessed the extraordinary moment.

We had lost hope but when Prophet T Mapisarema prayed, it was as if life returned to her body. We saw a miracle with our own eyes,” said a relative.

A Record of Miracles in Domboshava

Prophet Mapisarema, who leads a ministry in Domboshava known as “KwaTicha,” said this was not the first time he had seen such wonders.

“I have seen people come to me incapacitated to the last level. Some were almost dead but, after prayer, they walked. The blind have had their eyes opened. I am not saying these things for my own glory. The glory must go to God,” said a relative.

Accusations of Dark Powers

Despite his claims, Prophet Mapisarema said not everyone believes in his divine mandate.

Even when I was growing up, some called me a Satanist. Because when I would step into a witch’s house or the house of someone who practiced witchcraft, they would fall or die. I still have that power. But it is not from darkness, it is the power of God,” he recounted.

A Calling Through Songs and Dreams

He explained that the name “Mapisarema” has spiritual significance.

“I dreamt I was given a key written ‘Psalms.’ A voice told me I would sing songs and, through those songs, healing and prophecy would come,” he said.

“I do not write these songs—they come to me in dreams. We sing, people are healed, and prophecy flows.”
