Stunner intervened to protect his daughter but was accused of assaulting the young girl and her guardian, Catherine Matiza. Stunner denied the charges, and his legal team, led by Ndanatswa Mazvimbakupa and her husband Dumisani Mthombeni, successfully defended him.
