Mzansi radio personality Penny Ntuli left social media users outraged after revealing how much Gagasi FM offered to pay her per show. Heading online, the media darling shared that they were offering her only R2800 per month or R711, 98 per show.

Her revelation left many social media users slamming the KwaZulu-Natal-based radio station.

Shortly after her story broke, she was offered a job at Jozi FM, and judging by social media’s reaction to her first show, she is well on her way to success.

According to Penny who shared a lengthy open letter on social media, her decision to leave comes after she was offered only R2800 per month.

The said amount was for the graveyard show on Sundays between 1:00 and 4:00.

“It’s been an amazing two years there. I am grateful to be considered as one of the talents that have been given an opportunity to showcase their talents once again in the new season on your platform.

“However, the salary of R2 800 per month on my offer letter or contract is not something I can sustain my life with,” Ntuli wrote in her resignation.

The admission left social media users shocked as they discussed the salary offer and how “unreasonable” it is.

Soon Gagasi FM topped trend lists and later threatened to take legal action against Penny for revealing the offer they had sent her.
