The death toll in Israel sits above 1,400.

Speaking at the ANC’s headquarters in Johannesburg on Monday, Ramaphosa again called for the international community to unite against Israel.

“We have seen a number of countries being supportive of the need for a ceasefire, but at the same time we have seen other countries continuing to demonstrate their reluctance to support this process. Just a week ago, we saw there was an overwhelming vote in support of Palestine to be represented in the United Nations.”
