Zimbabweans were left stunned when a male caller openly professed his love for veteran radio presenter Tilda Moyo, affectionately known as Tete Tilda, during a recent episode of her popular Family Secrets talk show on Star FM.

Caller Declares Love for Tilda Moyo
In a video clip of the incident, Tilda begins by asking the caller to share his family secret. However, the conversation takes an unexpected turn when the man boldly declares his deep infatuation with Tilda, claiming that just hearing her voice gives him goosebumps.
“Secret yangu yaklmira so shamwar, Tilda ndokuda shaa. Ndikanzwa voice rako shamwari handimbogone ndoita kumerera shamwari,” the boldly says.
Surprised by his response, Tete Tilda seeks clarification, asking whether he loves her as a sister or in a romantic way. The man responds by saying that his feelings go beyond admiration.
“Zvekutokuda chaizvo pakati pemoyo,” the man clarifies.
When Tilda asks if he’s interested in marrying her, the man explains,
“Zvekutongokuda. Kungonzwa voice rako handigoni shamwari.”

‘Your Voice Turns Me On’: Man Explicitly Tells Tilda Moyo
Tilda then informs the man that she’s been happily married for 36 years, hoping to end the uncomfortable conversation. However, the man’s response becomes more inappropriate, as he dismisses her marital status and uses vulgar language to describe how her voice arouses him.
“Zvemakore enyu izvo handinei nazvo. Shamwari ndikanzwa voice rako m*** yangu inotomira shamwari,” he explains.
