Climate-Resilient Farming Equipment Distribution
Concurrent with the title deed ceremony, the government is commissioning production booster kits designed to enhance irrigation capabilities. Each comprehensive kit contains pumps, piping, and associated equipment capable of supporting one hectare of irrigated land. These resources aim to strengthen climate change resilience among farmers by reducing dependence on seasonal rainfall patterns.
Large-Scale Participation and National Impact
Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs Minister Christopher Magomo confirmed that approximately 30,000 attendees from across the province are expected to witness this historic event. The ceremony continues a national rollout that began in Kwekwe in December 2024, with an ultimate goal of providing ownership documents to over 360,000 landholders nationwide.

This initiative forms part of broader governmental efforts to enhance food security and contribute to GDP growth through agricultural development. The Craigengower Farm project specifically benefits war veterans, who comprise 70 percent of the recipients on these subdivided A1 plots. By establishing clear ownership rules and registrable deeds, the program aims to make agricultural land more attractive for investment while securing farmers’ rights for generations to come.
