New revelations have surfaced about the tragic murder of Emmanuel Mahamba, a Zimbabwean national killed in a violent altercation involving a Ugandan man and a mutual romantic interest. Investigations confirm the victim left behind a grieving wife and child in Mashava, Zimbabwe.

The incident occurred on April 5, 2025, near the Mzanzi Building, where witnesses reported seeing a Ford Ranger pickup truck intentionally strike Mahamba multiple times before crushing his body in a repeated hit-and-run attack. Sandton Police Station has registered the case (No: 138/04/2025), but the victim’s family alleges critical investigative failures.
Central to the case is Ntombizodwa, a Zimbabwean woman who reportedly maintained relationships with both Mahamba and the Ugandan suspect within a short timeframe. Tensions escalated when the Ugandan man discovered intimate footage of Ntombizodwa with Mahamba.

In her statement, Ntombizodwa claimed she had attempted to mediate between the two men prior to the attack:
