The new song is more than just a release for Jah Prayzah, whose real name is Mukudzeyi Mukombe. It’s a special moment as it also marks the musical debut of his daughter, Kayla, who stars in the project.
Taking to his social media pages, Jah Prayzah announced that Kuno will drop at 10 AM on Monday, 28 April. He teased that the single will be heavy on storytelling, both in its lyrics and its visuals.
“Tomorrow at 10 am, a piece of my heart comes to life. Kuno, the first full release from my upcoming album Ndini Mukudzeyi, will be going live. It’s even more special to me because my daughter, Kayla, plays herself in this story,” Jah Prayzah wrote.

“Kuno” Builds Momentum for the Full Album Launch
Kuno follows the earlier release of Ibvo, a teaser from the upcoming album that sparked a popular TikTok dance challenge, and Fambai Neni, a prayerful track that, while not part of the album, set a heartfelt tone for Jah Prayzah’s recent work.
The full album Ndini Mukudzeyi is set to launch on 3 May with a major event at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare. From there, Jah Prayzah plans to take his new music on an international tour, reaching fans across the world.
