Popular musician Chillmaster is finally breaking his silence after weeks away from the spotlight following a tragic accident on 9 April.
Chillmaster Set to Release New Song Ndaremerwa Following Tragic Car Accident
The singer was involved in a car accident that sadly claimed a pedestrian’s life. Now, Chillmaster is preparing to return to music with a powerful new song, Ndaremerwa, which will drop on Monday, 28 April at 8 PM.
Chillmaster shared a preview of the track’s first verse and chorus on his official Facebook page on Monday, offering fans a glimpse into his emotional journey.
Produced by Nyasha Timbe, Ndaremerwa sees Chillmaster at his most vulnerable. Staying true to his melancholic style, the song tackles the deep emotional pain and hardship he has faced since the accident.
The track opens with Chillmaster sharing the heavy mental burden he has been carrying:
“Pfungwa dzakamirira ridoke futi/Nhamo iye yakutanga futi/Misodzi inobuda igooma futi.”
In what appears to be a reference to the accident, he questions why such a tragedy struck him, admitting that he has struggled to move past it:
“Sei zvauyawo nepandiri Mwari/Dai makanyevera wakuoma muti/Ndaedza asi mupfungwa hazvichabude/Pfungwa hadzichafunge.”

Musician Discusses Accident in New Single
Chillmaster also addresses the judgment he’s faced, saying people are accusing him of murder. Even close friends, he laments, have turned away during his darkest hour:
“Angoda arikunditi wakauraya/Aiganza, takazvitaura/Nevamwe vandaiti vangu varikufara nazvo.”
He reflects on how the accident shattered a time in his life when he finally felt he was making progress and able to provide for his family:
“Pacho pandanga ndakutoti zvakanaka/Mhepo yakanditsoma yakandibata kaki/Ndichizamira varikumba varare vadya.”
The Horror hitmaker ends the heartfelt snippet by pleading for divine intervention:
“Misodzi painoyerera ndaremerwa/Zvakuda imi ini ndapererwa/Ini mwana wenyu ndaremerwa.”
