Sungura musician Paradzai Mesi is trending on social media after a video of him attempting to perform while visibly drunk surfaced online.
The embarrassing moment took place during Somandla “Mafia” Ndebele’s 26th album launch at Steak House Pub & Grill in Waterfalls, Harare.
Disaster on Stage: Mesi Struggles to Perform While Intoxicated
In video footage shared by H-Metro, Paradzai Mesi — visibly in a drunken stupor — can be seen attempting to perform.
He could barely stand on his own and had to be physically supported. His performance was a disaster, as he was off-key and sang in discord. It was so bad that he eventually had to be escorted off the stage.
According to witnesses, Paradzai Mesi had been spotted drinking alcohol before his performance

Many netizens expressed disappointment and outrage over Paradzai Mesi’s behaviour, calling it a total embarrassment. Fans slammed the singer for performing while heavily intoxicated, especially given his known struggles with alcohol.
