Jah Prayzah Reveals Why He Supports Khama Billiat’s Scottland FC
Top Zimbabwean musician Jah Prayzah has opened up about why he’s now a proud supporter of Scottland FC – the same club where football star Khama Billiat plays – despite never backing a local team before.
The hitmaker, who is enjoying the success of his latest album Ndini Mukudzeyi, has been spotted at several of Scottland FC’s matches at Rufaro Stadium, including their big clash with Harare City as they pushed for the Northern Region Soccer League title in 2024.

He even attended the much-talked-about derby against Dynamos dressed in Scottland gear, prompting fans to ask: was he always a football fan or did something change?
Jah Prayzah told H-Metro that he never supported any football club in Zimbabwe – until now. The reason? His close relationship with Scottland FC owner Scott Sakupwanya.
He explained that his loyalty isn’t just about football – it’s personal.
“I was not a soccer fan until Scottland. I am now supporting Scottland because Scott is my brother, and he has supported me in a big way. That is why I also support him and, in this case, Scottland,” he explained.
A New Chapter for the Superstar and the Club
The bond between the two isn’t new. Jah Prayzah was one of the top performers when Scottland FC launched their 2025 kit in February, ahead of their debut in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
Although he released the football-themed song “Fambai Nebhora” back in 2019 to support the Warriors’ bid at the Africa Cup of Nations, Jah Prayzah says he was never really into the local league or any club.
Looking back, he says he always understood the game but didn’t follow any team seriously.
“I always had an idea of what the game is all about, but I never had a team that I supported,” he said.
