‘uMadam Chappies’ Mzansi Enraged After A Soldier Chews Gum In Front Of President Ramaphosa

Mzansi has been left enraged after a woman soldier visibly chewed gum in front of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Chewing gum is viewed as disrespectful, especially if one speaks to another person, let alone in the presence of a top national political figure.

The video was taken as Cyril Ramaphosa wrapped up his visit to the US and boarded a plane to South Africa.

A video of Cyril Ramaphosa in the US getting ready to leave for South AFrica has made rounds on social media. The video was captured after the President concluded his talks with US President Donald Trump.

In the video, Ramaphosa makes small talk and shakes hands with a few officials. Amid the officials is a woman SANDF member who is visibly chewing gum with her mouth half open. This act has led to many people zooming in on the video and sharing a close-up of the act while she speaks to the president.
