Man Seeks Protection From Wife Who Laces His Food With Urine

A man is seeking protection from his wife over allegations that she laces his food with her urine.

A Harare marriage has descended into chaos following explosive allegations of food contamination and supernatural retaliation between spouses.

Artwell Matemera has petitioned the courts for protection against his wife Winny Johannes, claiming she secretly added urine to his meals and performed disturbing rituals affecting his health.

Husband Discovers His Wife Laces His Food With Urine

Matemera told magistrates he discovered multiple bottles containing suspicious mixtures hidden in their shared wardrobe.

“After confronting her about the urine in my food, she became violent,” he testified.

The husband claims these actions coincided with physical changes, including sexual dysfunction, that he attributes to his wife’s alleged practices.

Johannes offered an alternative explanation for the mysterious bottles, stating they contained medicinal herbs for her traditional healing business. She turned the tables on her husband, accusing him of infidelity and bizarre behaviour.

“He steals my undergarments to give to his mistresses,” Johannes claimed in her defense.

The conflict reportedly turned physical, with Matemera presenting knife wounds as evidence of domestic violence.

Both parties traded accusations of sexual misconduct, with Johannes alleging abandonment during her pregnancy with twins while Matemera claimed his wife intentionally sabotaged their intimacy.

Court’s Recommendation

Presiding Magistrate Meenal Narotam emphasised the need for professional intervention beyond legal measures. “This situation requires counseling,” Narotam stated while granting Matemera’s temporary protection order.
