The Deadly Bluffhill pitbull owner has been exposed for the hand he played in an elaborate car fraud case.

Fresh information has surfaced regarding the ongoing criminal investigation into Mike Mpinga, the controversial figure previously linked to a fatal pit bull attack in Bluffhill.

The latest case involves an elaborate vehicle theft operation that allegedly netted the suspect $26,000 worth of stolen cars.

According to sources, Mpinga initially approached a Harare resident in August 2024 under the pretence of renting a vehicle.

Weeks later, he reportedly returned with an enticing business proposition – a joint car rental venture. The suspect allegedly convinced the victim to provide additional vehicles along with their customs documentation, claiming he would handle the registration process through official channels.

Documents reveal that Mpinga allegedly exploited the victim’s trust by secretly registering the vehicles under his own name rather than completing the proper business registration. When questioned about progress, the suspect supposedly offered various excuses until the victim independently verified with the Vehicle Theft Squad (VTS) and discovered the deception.

Stolen Vehicles Sold, Suspect Disappears

Authorities report that all vehicles involved in the scheme, including the originally rented car, were allegedly sold by Mpinga before he ceased all communication. The total estimated loss stands at $26,000 USD.

This incident adds to Mpinga’s growing list of legal troubles, which reportedly includes multiple serious charges ranging from s_xual assault to attempted murder, with one case allegedly involving firearm use.
