Second Group of White Afrikaners Arrive In The US

Jaco Kleynhans, representative for the advocacy group Solidarity, verified that multiple Afrikaner households landed in Atlanta last Friday via commercial aircraft.

This was a different travel arrangement from the initial cohort of 49 individuals who arrived weeks earlier on a privately chartered flight.

The relocation effort stems from a presidential directive issued last February, which cited South Africa’s contentious 2024 Land Reform Act as grounds for offering asylum. While proponents argue the legislation unfairly disadvantages white landowners, numerous legal analysts maintain these concerns are exaggerated.

Growing Interest in Resettlement

Kleynhans disclosed that American immigration authorities are currently evaluating approximately 8,000 applications from South African citizens, with additional arrivals anticipated in coming months. Preferred destinations include several southern and midwestern states known for their conservative leanings.

“While our organization primarily focuses on domestic advocacy, we recognize the difficult choices many families face regarding their future security and prosperity,” Kleynhans remarked.

Kallie Kriel of AfriForum emphasized his group isn’t coordinating departures but acknowledged the anxieties driving emigration decisions, particularly among younger generations facing employment challenges and concerning political rhetoric.

Even Donald Trump has publicly announced on X that there is no white genocide in South Africa. Many celebrities and public personalities have also echoed the same sentiments.
