About the Role
The Corporate Services Officer (Stores) plays a critical role within the Corporate Services team, which lies at the heart of the British Embassy’s operational effectiveness. This position is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who is passionate about logistics, administration, and delivering exceptional service.
You will be responsible for managing the Embassy’s inventory, stores, and assets, supporting a broad range of operational functions, and helping ensure compliance across the estate. This dynamic position offers exposure to a wide variety of areas within the Embassy’s operations and is key to keeping things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Stores Management – 40%

Maintain accurate records of technical supplies, bulk fuel, office/residential furniture, and general stock

Track and update daily issues and receipts
-
Conduct regular stock checks, reconciliations, and implement furniture inventory procedures

Handle asset coordination and disposal of excess items
-
Support procurement coordination for timely stock replenishment
Administrative Duties – 40%
-
Conduct ‘March In’ and ‘March Out’ procedures for UK-based staff, ensuring compliance with FCDO standards

Manage utility bills and payments for office services
-
Set up and cancel satellite TV, telephone, and internet services for both office and residences
-
Liaise with local vendors, suppliers, and service providers to support Estates operations
Team & Budget Support – 10%

Monitor expenditure against allocated budget lines

Provide support to the Technical and wider Corporate Services teams
Resource Management

Line management responsibility for the Embassy cleaning team
