General Nurse Training (September 2025 Intake)
The Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) is inviting applications for the September 2025 intake into the three-year Diploma in General Nurse Training. The program is open to qualified individuals holding the necessary academic credentials as outlined by the Ministry.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess a minimum of five Ordinary Level subjects with a grade C or better. These should include the following:

English Language and a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Integrated Science).

Mathematics.

Two other relevant subjects from the approved curriculum, such as:

Science-based subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science).

Technical and practical subjects (Fashion and Fabrics, Metal Work, Woodwork, Physical Education and Building, etc.).

Candidates should have completed their Ordinary Level education in no more than two sittings. Additionally, they must be between the ages of 17 and 30 years at the time of commencement of training.

Submission Guidelines
Completed application letters must be addressed and submitted to the Chief Medical Officer or the Medical Superintendent of the relevant training institutions listed below by 30 June 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. At the interview, they are required to present:

Three passport-size photos with the applicant’s name on the back.
Verification of academic and identity documents will take place on the interview day.

Only candidates who meet the set recruitment criteria will be shortlisted.

Successful candidates will be placed in various training schools across the country.

The Ministry does not advertise training posts through private agencies or charge any fees.
