A Mixed Debut Season at Wolves
Munetsi joined Wolves during the January transfer window in a £16.6 million move, alongside defenders Emmanuel Agbadou and Nasser Djiga.
While originally signed as a box-to-box midfielder, manager Vitor Pereira used Munetsi in a more advanced role, often pushing him closer to the striker, Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Some Wolves fans were critical of Munetsi’s impact, suggesting he was mainly used for pressing and didn’t offer much creativity or technical support to the attack.
Munetsi Promises to Do Better Next Season
Despite scoring two goals in 14 appearances, Munetsi admitted his first few months in England were a learning curve. He’s confident that next season will show more of what he can really offer.
He said the experience has helped him understand the demands of the Premier League and promised improvement going forward.
“You get quality players in every team, so it’s been really good for me to get this challenge, and obviously now I know more about how everything is done here, and I think for the next year I will do better,” he said.
