Highlanders FC Acting CEO Resigns Abruptly Hours Before Interviews
Acting Highlanders FC Chief Executive Officer Kindman Ndlovu has resigned from his post just hours before the club was scheduled to conduct interviews to appoint a permanent CEO.

Acting CEO Steps Down on Eve of Interviews
Ndlovu, who was appointed acting CEO three months ago following Brian Moyo’s resignation, confirmed on Thursday evening that he was stepping down.
According to B-Metro, his departure comes just hours before Highlanders was scheduled to conduct interviews to fill the chief executive post on a permanent basis.
Although he has relinquished his role as acting CEO, Ndlovu stated that he will remain part of the executive committee.
The reasons for his sudden resignation have not been disclosed, fueling widespread speculation among Bosso supporters.
Highlanders FC Fires Kelvin Kaindu
Ndlovu’s exit closely follows another dramatic development: the sacking of head coach Kelvin Kaindu.
In an official statement shared this week on Highlanders FC’s Facebook page, the club announced Kaindu’s dismissal with immediate effect.
“Highlanders Football Club would like to inform its stakeholders of the following changes in its technical team with immediate effect: The Club has parted ways with head coach Kelvin Kaindu,” read part of the statement.
Head Coach Kelvin Kaindu Sacked Over Poor Results
According to the club, the decision to terminate Kaindu’s contract was driven by a string of unsatisfactory results that have put pressure on the team’s performance this season.
“The above changes have been necessitated by the recent streak of unsatisfactory results. The Club wishes coach Kelvin Kaindu the best in his future endeavours and thanks him for his contribution during his time of service,” the statement added.
