Preliminary investigations suggest the victim was walking alongside active train tracks while wearing noise-cancelling headphones, potentially unaware of the approaching locomotive.

“The NRZ deeply regrets to confirm another fatality on our rail network today. Emergency responders and police personnel are currently working to establish the victim’s identity and notify next of kin,” stated an official NRZ release.
