Ster Kinekor Zimbabwe Sam Levy Village Cinema Branch Shuts Down After 10 Years

In a surprising turn of events, Ster Kinekor Zimbabwe has announced that they are shutting down their Sam Levy Village Cinema branch.

Ster Kinekor Zimbabwe move to close down their Sam Levy Village Cinema branch has left movie lovers greatly disappointed.

Ster Kinekor Zimbabwe Announces Closure of Sam Levy Village Cinema

In a statement, shared on their various social media handles, Ster-Kinekor Zimbabwe announced the closure of its Sam Levy’s cinema.

They revealed that their lease agreement at Sam Levy Village branch was expiring on the the 30th of June.

However, they could not renew the lease agreement as the landlord has made the unexpected decision to repurpose the space and shift its focus away from cinema.

“We regret to inform you that our Sam Levy Village Cinema lease agreement, which lasted for an impressive 10 years, is expiring on the 30th of June 2024. Unfortunately, the landlord has made the unexpected decision to repurpose the space and shift its focus away from cinema.”

Ster Kinekor Seeks New Location After Losing Sam Levy Village Cinema Lease

Ster-Kinekor Zimbabwe disclosed that regardless of the fact that they are going to be shutting down their cinema branch in Sam Levy Village, they are actively searching for a new place to set up a new cinema.

“Nevertheless, the legacy is far from over and we are actively searching for a new, suitable location to carry on with our innovative business model.

Our hearts are full of gratitude for the memories and joy this cinema has brought to many over the years. For now, we look forward to continue welcoming you to our Bulawayo and Joina City cinemas whilst we finalize on our next location/s.

Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to see you soon!, “reads the statement.

Movie Lovers Mourn the Impending Shutdown of Ster Kinekor’s Sam Levy Cinema

Ster Kinekor’s Sam Levy cinema branch was a top favorite spot for many movie lovers. The announcement has got social media users buzzing with mixed reactions as many people expressed their disappointment. On the other hand some social media users advised Ster Kinekor to open a branch in Westgate instead.
