‘A Gifted Forward’: ZIFA Pays Tribute to Former Warriors Striker Tendai Ndoro
The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has joined the football fraternity in mourning the death of former national team striker Tendai Ndoro.
He passed away at the age of 40.

Tendai Ndoro Found Dead in South Africa
Tendai Ndoro, who also made a name for himself in the South African Premier Soccer League with Orlando Pirates, was reportedly found dead at his home in South Africa on Monday, 18 August.
His sudden death has left both Zimbabwean and South African football fans in shock.
ZIFA Pays Tribute
In a heartfelt statement, ZIFA hailed Ndoro as a gifted forward who wore the Warriors jersey with pride and distinction.
“The Zimbabwe Football Association is deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of former Warriors striker, Tendai Ndoro. Ndoro was a gifted forward who proudly represented our nation, donning the Warriors jersey with distinction. His talent, commitment, and passion for the game inspired many, and his contributions to Zimbabwean football will forever be remembered,” reads part of the statement.

Football Association Extends Sympathy to Ndoro’s Family
ZIFA expressed its condolences, noting that Ndoro’s death was not only a loss to his family but to the entire nation
“On behalf of the ZIFA Executive Committee, the football family, and the entire nation, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Ndoro’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May His Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.”
