In January, Jairos visited Mhangura and entrusted Ketai with the task of collecting $400 from two individuals, namely Mai Marvis and Mai Patience, to hold on to until his return.
Upon his comeback after three months, Jairos was shocked to discover that Ketai had misappropriated the funds.

Recalling the incident, Jairos narrated how Ketai attempted to make amends by offering him a residential plot in Magada. However, investigations later revealed that the plot was owned by another individual.
“In the presence of my son, Welldone Mapadza, Ketai presented me with the alleged residential plot in Magada, exploiting my visual impairment,” recounted Jairos.
“On April 9, when I contacted Ketai to finalize the paperwork for the plot, she claimed to be waiting for the official confirmation from the registered owner. This raised suspicion in my mind.”
Further inquiries disclosed that the plot in question rightfully belonged to Tauro Shingirai, prompting Jairos to take immediate action by reporting the matter to the police.
