Comic Pastor Announces 2025 Retirement
Popular Zimbabwean content creator Prosper Ngomashi, better known as Comic Pastor, has announced that he will retire from the entertainment industry at the end of 2025. In a heartfelt Facebook post, the UK-based comedian said it’s time to step away while he’s still proud of what he’s achieved, and more importantly, of the people he’s helped along the way.
Comic Pastor Retires from Entertainment End of 2025
Comic Pastor admitted that he no longer feels at the top of his game. Instead of clinging on, he’s choosing to step aside gracefully and with a full heart. He reflected on July being a meaningful month for him, as many younger creators, including Lorraine Guyo and Comic Elder, expressed gratitude for his mentorship.
He made it clear he isn’t the kind of person to hang around when the passion is gone. His message read:
“JULY has been a great month for me
I have received so much love from people I feel I did little in helping them, yet these people highly regard me as a mentor, as their inspiration and role model
I appreciate you too Gamue Lorraine Guyo Productions – Chihera Comic Elder nyangwe zvangu (NDAPERA) yes I can feel it I am (EMPTY), and I am not a politician vasingabvume kupera
One thing gives me joy I shared my limelight time with others and I was not a one man band
2025 marks the END of The Comic Pastor, and I retire with Joy
I shared the light, passed on the baton, and helped others.”
Fans React: “We’re Not Ready to Let Go”
