Zimbabwean Woman and Her South African Friend Shot Dead in Limpopo, Bodies Fed to Pigs on Farm
In a rather tragic and disturbing development, a Zimbabwean woman was brutally murdered in Limpopo, South Africa.
The Zimbabwean woman and her South African friend were shot and killed and their bodies fed to pigs by a local farmer.
The shocking incident has sparked outrage in the community, leading to calls for justice.

Horrific Attack at Onvervaght Farm
The victims, 35-year-old Locadia Ndlovhu and her 45-year-old friend, Maria Makgato, were searching for discarded food at a dumpsite on Onvervaght Farm in Sebayeng, near Polokwane, when they were attacked.
Ndlovhu’s husband, Mabutho Ncube, who was with them at the time, managed to escape despite sustaining serious injuries.
Arrests and Charges
The farm owner, 60-year-old Zachariah Olivier, along with two of his employees—19-year-old Adriaan de Wet and 45-year-old Zimbabwean national William Musoro—have been arrested in connection with the crime.
The trio faces multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, and defeating the ends of justice. Additionally, Musoro has been charged with contravening the Immigration Act.
Police Detail Chilling Discovery of Decomposed Bodies on Limpopo Farm
In a statement regarding the arrests, Limpopo province police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba detailed the gruesome discovery:
“The suspects were arrested after the discovery of two decomposed women’s bodies in a pigsty on a farm in Sebayeng, outside Mankweng, on August 20. The arrests followed a thorough investigation by the Provincial Tracking Team and Murder and Robbery Unit.”
Colonel Ledwaba further explained that the investigation began after the 45-year-old South African woman was reported missing on August 17, following her visit to the farm with Ndlovhu.
“Both women sustained gunshot wounds and a 47-year-old foreign national man, who was with them, was also shot and hospitalized,” he added.
Community Outrage and Calls for Justice
The Capricorn District Municipality Executive Mayor, Mamedupi Teffo, expressed the community’s deep concern over the heinous crime and emphasized the need for justice to be served.
“What is disturbing about this incident is that not only did the perpetrators shoot them, but they also fed them to the pigs after they killed them. We are going to come here on August 30 when the three accused appear so that we show our dissatisfaction and so that they do not also get bail,” Teffo stated.
The case has been postponed to August 30 for a formal bail application, with many in the community vowing to oppose the release of the accused.
