Students at Ivyluck College in Harare, Zimbabwe, were left stunned after discovering their Zimsec O-Level exams were counterfeit. Tafadzwa Chikohora, 31, the college’s headmaster, faces theft and fraud charges.
Chikohora allegedly misused $729 intended for registering students at Ellis Robins High School, a legitimate examination center. He created fake exam papers, sent falsified statements to students and destroyed evidence to conceal his actions. Ivyluck College, offering classes from Form 1 to Form 6, is not registered with Zimsec.
The scam came to light when students discussed exam content, raising suspicions. Chikohora’s arrest followed, with investigators uncovering fake exam papers on his phone.
