“Kelly Khumalo Shot and Killed Senzo Meyiwa Instantly”: Advocate Malesela Teffo Makes Explosive Claim

Advocate Malesela Teffo claims singer Kelly Khumalo accidentally shot and killed her boyfriend, Senzo Meyiwa, during an argument at her home.

He made the claims during an interview on Podcast and Chill with MacG, where he shared his version of what happened the night the Bafana Bafana captain died.

‘It Was a Fatal Mistake’: Teffo Shares His Version of Events

According to him, the shooting took place during a heated altercation at Kelly Khumalo’s home — not during a home invasion, as previously reported.

He claimed the firearm was brought to the house by Longwe Twala, who suspected Meyiwa was having an affair with Kelly’s sister, Zandile Khumalo.

During the chaos, Longwe — allegedly drunk and high — fired a shot into the floor. After being overpowered and thrown out by Senzo, Meyiwa returned inside, and that’s when the accidental shooting occurred.

Kelly Khumalo shot and killed Senzo instantly. It was a fatal mistake,” Teffo told MacG.

Teffo Claims Cover-Up and Miscarriage of Justice

Teffo says he has a prison affidavit from Longwe Twala backing his claims. He further alleged that the five men currently on trial for Meyiwa’s murder are being used as scapegoats, and that the State is covering up what really happened that night.

He also claimed he was pressured to walk away from the case.

The head of the correctional facility called me into his office and offered me R45 million to drop the Senzo Meyiwa case,” Teffo alleged.

Shocking Claims About the Gun and a High-Profile Connection

Teffo alleges the gun used to kill Meyiwa was not tied to the current suspects, but a .38 revolver linked to prosecutor Advocate George Baloyi. He claimed the same firearm was involved in the 2004 death of Baloyi’s son.

According to Teffo, the gun was passed from Baloyi to music producer Chicco Twala, and then to his son Longwe. He also claimed that Chicco Twala and Advocate Baloyi are half-brothers.
