Linda Masarira’s Ben 10 Husband Caught Sleeping in Her Daughter’s Bedroom

Opposition politician Linda Masarira’s Ben 10 husband Bongani Mlotshwa has been handed a sentence for beating her up, bringing to an end to a jaw-dropping saga that shocked the public,

A statement released by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) also confirmed mi9nd boggling rumours that went viral on social media.

Linda Masarira’s Husband Caught Sleeping in Daughter’s Bedroom

According to the NPA, Bongani Mlotshwa, aged 29, who is married to politician Linda Masarira, aged 41, appeared before the Epworth Magistrates’ Court on Monday to face the music for violating the Domestic Violence Act.

In a statement that corroborated social media gossip, the NPA said that Linda Masarira caught her husband red-handed sleeping in her daughter’s room. Upon asking what he was doing in her daughter’s room, Mlotshwa responded with fists instead of words.

Bongani Mlotshwa Sentenced for Beating Masarira Up

The prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that on May 5, 2024, Mlotshwa unleashed his wrath upon Masarira, landing not one, not two, but three blows to her left eye using his closed fists after she found him in her daughter’s room.

Mlotshwa was found guilty and sentenced to 15 months in prison, with 5 months suspended for 5 years. Another 10 months were suspended on the condition complete 350 hours of community service.

On Monday, Linda Masarira released a statement on X (formerly Twitter), requesting space to deal with the issue away from prying eyes.

“I respectfully request that the media grant me privacy during this challenging time. I’m currently dealing with personal issues that require my attention, and my mental health is a top priority. I kindly ask that you allow me the space to sort out my affairs without sensationalizing my situation for the sake of selling papers. Thank you for your understanding and respect,” Linda Masarira posted.
