“May You Rot in Poverty”: Mai Jeremaya Fires Shots at Her Alleged Abusers
Outspoken social media personality Mai Jeremaya has taken to Facebook with a scathing message directed at two men she accused of raping her — Thabo and Martin.
In what she described as her “final words” on the matter, Mai Jeremaya expressed gratitude to God for transforming her life but didn’t hold back on the pain and trauma she endured.
“Muchatambura Vakomana”: Mai Jeremaya Issues Strong Warning
In the lengthy and emotionally charged post, Mai Jeremaya thanked Thabo and Martin. She stated that they were used by God to transform her life.
She wrote:
“Nhamo inowondesa. Kwete nhamo nhamo asi nhamo chaiyo. Nhasi ndoda kukutenda Thabo na Martin. Makashandiswa naMwari kushandura hupenyu hwangu, makadya pasingadyiwe mukatora jambwa. Ndanga ndiine jambwa rine hwema ndikapfuura pa vanhu vaiziva kuti ndini ndapfuura. Ndaitya munhu wese, ndaishupika, ndaishuwira kudiwa”
She warned them of the consequences of their actions, stating that they are going to suffer and face misfortune . Mai Jeremaya also reflected on the paradox of pain and growth, drawing from an Economics A-Level concept to explain how misfortune can lead to transformation.
“Ndine hurombo kukuudzai kuti zviri kundifambira to an extent yekuti i now believe concept yatakadzidza ku Economics A Level kuti kuipa kwechimwe kunaka kwechimwe. Ying and Yang… basically ukatadzira munhu asina chaakutadzira uchaita munyama. Muchatambura vakomana. Mucharara nenzara vakomana. Muchatambura”
She emphasized that despite their belief that they had “won,” they would suffer until they sought divine mercy.
“I feel sorry for you i even wish i could reverse it for you, but murikufunga kuti makahwina saka you never got time to seek mercy even in private. Maka bhaiza boys. Brotherhood is not even happy with you. May you rot in poverty until you seek Jesus.”
Shoutouts to JMP and Final Words to Cynthia
Apart from the message to her alleged abusers, Mai Jeremaya directed a personal message to her ‘friend’ Cynthia, writing that she always had a bad feeling about her but mistook it for religious guilt. She wished her well but acknowledged that Cynthia’s life would be difficult for a while, especially due to her struggles with drugs.
“Cynthia sha, i always had a bad feeling about you but ndaifunga kuti ndiri kutadzira Mwari kubhoikana newe apa yanga itori intuition. But ndotenda kuti ndakadzidza nhaiwe. Sorry hako hupenyu huchambotora nguva huchikurwadza ma drugs akaoma kurarama nawo but you have a loving family, people are praying for you including myself.”
She ended her post by thanking JMP for finally releasing a song she had been waiting for, and she closed with praise to God:
“To JMP, thank for releasing this song finally. I have a good feeling about it. To God, my refuge and strenghth, i shall not want.”
